The late Ray Zone was known as the "King of 3-D Comic Books," creating 3-D conversions for over 300 comics, including many underground books that he published under his banner "The 3-D Zone," featuring such artists as Robt. Williams, Ed "Big Daddy" Roth, and Basil Wolverton. Zone also hosted a Los Angeles cable-access TV show in the early 1980s where he interviewed many of his artist collaborators. Eric Kurland (CEO of 3-D Space) and Lawrence Kaufman (chairman of the National Stereoscopic Association) will be joined by several of Ray Zone's friends and colleagues to take a look a look at his 3-D underground work, including video interviews from The Zone Show, not seen in over 30 years and only recently discovered and digitized.
